Know that feeling? Most people do. It's a primal urge hardwired into the very essence of us humans. Nothing comes close in satisfaction and simple pleasure of the feeling of achievement than running.

Runners of all ages and abilities are welcome and the workshops are free of charge. Please bring yourself and appropriate clothing in relation to weather. Open mind and a fun loving attitude also will help, as will a bottle of water. :)  We will be covering topics such as:

Warm up

Running gait and technique

Injury prevention

Cool down

Mobility and Flexibitily exercises specific to running

"I’ve been running for general fitness for a number of years and in the last couple, I’ve really built up my distances. Unfortunately that also introduced some recurring injuries to my calves. Because I never learned how to run - I just went out and did it - I wondered if I was somehow doing it wrong and so when I heard about Mika’s workshop, I was very excited. I wasn’t sure what to expect but what I got was lots of great practical information on how to run and a guided practice in doing it so that I knew when I was doing it right. It’s given me loads to work on and, most encouragingly, I could instantly feel the difference where it mattered most for me, my problem calves! I now have definite things I can work on to improve my running rather than my previous, and sometimes disastrous, trial and error approach."
